BIKES FOR KIDS

Overview

At select IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events, we invite athletes, as well as their families and friends, to visit the IRONMAN Foundation in IRONMAN Village to assemble bikes for local kids in need, inspiring them to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle.

The bike build takes only five minutes and provides athletes and their supporters the opportunity to connect to local youth, sending them the message to “Stay strong, ride safe, and believe in your dreams!”

As part of race weekend, the IRONMAN Foundation will deliver the bikes to kids in partnership with a local nonprofit organization, powerfully linking our athletes to the local community and leaving the IRONMAN legacy behind long after race day.

Bike for a Kid will take place in IRONMAN Village in the IRONMAN Foundation tent. Please check the specific events race week schedule for times and location.

We invite athletes, their families and friends to partake in the Bike for a Kid initiative! It takes just a few minutes and you don’t need any bike building experience! The best part is that participants get to write a note to the child receiving the bike once the build is complete.

In 2025, Bike for a Kid will be offered at the following events:
