COMMUNITY GRANT PROGRAM

 

The IRONMAN Foundation Community Grant program supports organizations within select IRONMAN race communities around the world.

 

Each year, a select number of race communities are chosen to receive Community Grant funding providing an opportunity for community organizations to create positive change in race communities and leave the IRONMAN legacy behind long after race day.

2025 Community Grant Application

The IRONMAN Foundation supports a broad range of organizations; however, priority will give preference to organizations and/or projects that:

  • Provide resources for children to swim, bike, and run into a stronger future.
  • Meet an identified need specific to that race community.
  • Can report a measurable impact at the conclusion of the grant period.
  • Leverage additional funds or secure match funding, therefore increasing the impact of the grant award.

IRONMAN Foundation Community Grants are only available in select communities.  Applications for funding in communities outside of those announced will not be considered for funding. 

  • 2025 Community Grant Communities:
    • IRONMAN Texas (The Woodlands, TX) - Application Deadline 4/17/2025
    • IRONMAN 70.3 St. George (St. George, UT) - Application Deadline 4/17/2025
    • IRONMAN Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY) - Application Deadline 6/27/2025
    • IRONMAN 70.3 Louisville (Louisville, KY) - Application Deadline 7/24/2025
  • IRONMAN Foundation Community Grants are only available in select communities.  Applications for funding in communities outside of those listed above will not be considered for funding. 
  • Organizations not located in chosen communities are encouraged to contact local IRONMAN and Rock 'n' Roll Running Series event Volunteer Directors to learn more information about volunteering and the application process for a potential Volunteerism Grant.
