IRONMAN World Championship athletes embody dedication, courage, and the IRONMAN mantra that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.® This Fall,  athletes will embark on a 140.6-mile journey that presents the ultimate test of body, mind, and spirit to earn the title of IRONMAN. To honor the vision of IRONMAN co-founders, John and Judy Collins, IRONMAN remains committed to providing athletes of all abilities a means of entry to the world’s most challenging and prestigious one-day endurance event.

The IRONMAN Foundation's World Championship Charity Bib Drawing provides you the chance to toe the startline at a VinFast IRONMAN World Championship event not otherwise available to the public for purchase and would otherwise require qualification.

Three Methods of Entry:

  1. CLICK HERE and donate the suggested minimum of $100 to get one (1) entry in the Drawing.
  2. Any donations of the suggested minimum of $100 or more to a TEAM IMF Athlete's specific fundraising page will get the donor one (1) entry in the Drawing. This donation will ALSO result in one (1) entry for that TEAM IMF Athlete. 
  3. Send a postcard with your information to The IRONMAN Foundation.

There is no limit on the number of entries allowed per person. Please enter only if you are prepared to pay for, travel to and enter the Event. No purchase or donation is requires to enter or win the drawing. For full terms and conditions: Click HERE.

  • One (1) female winner will be awarded an opportunity to purchase at full retail price ($1,400 USD plus taxes and fees) an entry into the 2023 Women's VinFast IRONMAN World Championship triathlon in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii held on October 14, 2023.
  • One (1) male winner will be awarded an opportunity to purchase at full retail price ($1,400 USD plus taxes and fees) an entry into the 2023 Men's VinFast IRONMAN World Championship triathlon in Nice, France held on September 10, 2023.
  • If a donor to a TEAM IMF fundraiser is selected as the Winner they will have the chance to transfer the Prize to a TEAM IMF athlete. 
  • Please note: Each Winner will be responsible for all transportation such as airline flights, automobile transportation to/from airports, and transportation to and from the Event. The Prize does not consist of the race entry itself; rather, the Prize is the opportunity to purchase such race entry. The Prize is an opportunity not otherwise available to the general public for purchase and would generally otherwise require qualification for the Event. Winner, along with all other participants in the Event, must have a valid USA Triathlon (USAT) license on the day of the applicable race or purchase a one-day membership.
  • The Prize is only good for the 2023 VinFast IRONMAN World Championship events. No exchanges or returns.

Eligibility: To be eligible to enter the Drawing, you must be:

  • a. an individual at least 18 years old at the time of entry;
  • b. not an employee, officer, director, or agent of The IRONMAN Foundation, Inc., World Triathlon Corporation, or any of its parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, suppliers, printers, or advertising or drawing/contest agencies, and not otherwise involved with or associated with the Drawing;
  • c. not an employee, officer, or director of any company or organization associated with the Drawing;
  • d. not a shareholder of any company referenced in item (c) or (d) above (but only if such company is not a publicly traded company);
  • e. not an immediate family member (as defined below) or a household member (as defined below) of any individual referenced in item (c), (d), or (e) above;
  • f. not otherwise barred by law from participating in the Drawing at the date and time of entry;
  • g. not a professional triathlete; and
  • h. not planning to become a professional triathlete prior to the Event

The Winner must (a) compete in at least one IRONMAN-owned or IRONMAN-licensed IRONMAN® or IRONMAN® 70.3®-branded race between October 9, 2022 and August 20, 2023 and (b) finish such qualifying race within the stated cut-off time for such race (cut-off times can be found in the athlete FAQ section of the applicable race-specific website).

  • The IRONMAN Foundation creates positive, tangible change in race communities through grant funding and volunteerism.
  • In celebrating the 20th anniversary of IRONMAN Foundation our goal is to raise more than $50,000 through this Drawing to support our charitable giveback in our race communities around the world.
  • Donations are tax-deductible.
