COMMUNITY GRANT PROGRAM

Overview

The IRONMAN Foundation Community Grant program supports organizations within select North American and international race communities.

Grant funding provides an opportunity to create positive, tangible change in our race communities and leave the IRONMAN Legacy behind long after race day.

Groups located within select North American and international race communities are invited to submit an application for an IRONMAN Foundation Community Grant.

Since 2003, over $55 million has been provided through giveback programs led by the IRONMAN Foundation to more than 10,000 local, regional, national and global nonprofit initiatives.

The IRONMAN Foundation supports a broad range of organizations; however, priority will give preference to organizations and/or projects that:

  • Serves a need in line with the key giving categories of The IRONMAN Foundation.
    • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
    • First Responders & Military
    • Health & Wellness
    • Volunteerism Grants
  • Meet an identified need specific to that race community.
  • Can report a measurable impact at the conclusion of the grant period.
  • Leverage additional funds or secure match funding, therefore increasing the impact of the grant award.
  • In 2024, Community Grants are available for application by charitable organizations serving the communities of the following races:
    • Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Texas (Applications are closed)
    • Intermountain Healthcare IRONMAN 70.3 North American Championship St. George (Deadline to apply is 4/4/2024)
