Grant funding provides an opportunity to create positive, tangible change in our race communities and leave the IRONMAN Legacy behind long after race day.

Groups located within select North American and international race communities are invited to submit an application for an IRONMAN Foundation Community Grant.

Since 2003, over $50-million has been provided to more than 8,300 local, regional, national and global nonprofit initiatives across all programs through grant funding from the IRONMAN Foundation.

Who can apply for a Community Grant?

The IRONMAN Foundation supports a broad range of organizations; however, priority will give preference to organizations and/or projects that:

  • Meet an identified need specific to that race community.
  • Can report a measurable impact at the conclusion of the grant period.
  • Leverage additional funds or secure match funding, therefore increasing the impact of the grant award.

At what races are Community Grants available?

In 2019, Community Grants are available for application at the following events. Please note the associated deadlines.

  • IRONMAN Texas (March 16, 2019)
